What we collect, and why.

Written to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality. If something here is unclear, ask us.

What we collect when you order

To take an order and get it to you, we collect:

  • Your email address, which we use for your receipt and for updates about the order
  • Your name and shipping address
  • What you ordered — item, size, colour, quantity, and the amounts charged
  • The brand, last four digits, and expiry month and year of the card used, plus the billing name and address returned by our payment processor

We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or any credential. Card details are entered into fields hosted by our payment processor and go directly to them — they do not pass through our servers.

Who processes it

  • Stripe processes payments and calculates sales tax from your shipping address.
  • Supabase hosts the database where order records are stored.
  • Resend delivers the email that tells us a new order came in.
  • Meta receives the advertising events described below.

Each of these handles your information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and analytics

This site runs the Meta Pixel. It records which pages you view, which products you look at, when you add something to the cart, when you begin checkout, and when you complete a purchase. It sets cookies that Meta uses to recognise a browser across sites.

When an order is paid, we also send a purchase event to Meta from our server. That event includes your email address hashed with SHA-256 — scrambled so it cannot be read back — together with your IP address, your browser's user agent string, and the Meta cookie identifiers from your visit. The IP address and user agent are not hashed.

We use this to measure whether our advertising works. If you would rather not be tracked this way, browser-level tracking protection and Meta's own ad settings both limit it, and we honour deletion requests as described below.

Your cart

Your cart is stored in your own browser so it survives a reload. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out. Clearing your browser storage clears it.

The newsletter

If you sign up in the footer, we store your email address and the fact that it came from that form. Nothing else — signing up does not connect you to an order or to anything you looked at.

It is a separate opt-in: buying something does not add you to it, and you can ask us to remove you at any time by replying to any message you get from us or by emailing us directly.

What we do not do

  • There are no accounts on this site, so we hold no passwords.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
  • We do not add you to the newsletter because you bought something — it is a separate opt-in.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle returns, answer questions, and meet tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete yours sooner and we will, except where we are required to keep a transaction record.

Asking for your information, or its removal

Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout and tell us what you want — a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will confirm when it is done.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
